I origianally bought the CD for the song by Papberboy. However, I listen to most of the songs when I'm driving in the car. I received the CD quickly.

Hold Up One More Time!:

Once again, where are the ladies on this album? This is a great release but they missed a lot of songs. How can you say this is a jam release when you forgot Domino's Ghetto Jam?, Today Was a Good Day by Ice Cube, My Mind's Playing Tricks on Me by Getto Boys, Call Me On the Under- D-Shot, Regulate- Warren G., Get Jiggy Wit It- Will Smith, Hurricane-The Click, Gin and Juice- Snoop. My Type of Hype- Full Force. Anything by Public Enemy, Eric B. and Rakim and P.Diddy. Come on! THESE WERE MAJOR HITS COMPLETELY... more info

An adult guide to old school:

Twenty years after "Rapper's Delight", there are still a significant number of adults who do not feel that hip-hop is a legitimate musical form. The arguements are varied: "It all sounds the same", "It's just disgusting", "It has nothing to say", and my personal favorite "It's not REAL music."

I seem to recall exactly the same arguments were raised about Rock 'n' Roll in the Fifties.
